Osmanthus glutinous rice and lotus root

This is actually what I did last time. The photos I took were a little dim and a bit blurry. I just corrected them again when I had free time in the past few days. I don’t know if they will pass the review. I think this side dish of glutinous rice and lotus root is a favorite among men, women, old and young, and it can also be regarded as a snack to satisfy cravings and relieve boredom. Pink lotus root, sticky glutinous rice, and topped with sweet osmanthus, it’s a perfect combination~

Pour the glutinous rice into a small basin and soak in hot water for more than two hours.

Wash the lotus roots and try to choose lotus roots with both ends intact. Cut off one side, do not throw away, keep aside.

Stuff the soaked glutinous rice into the lotus root with chopsticks.

Re-fix the lotus root section you just cut off.

Put the rock sugar in the pot, add the lotus roots, add water so that the lotus roots can be submerged is the best, turn on the heat and cook for about an hour, then remove from the pot.
