Vanilla ice cream
Overview
As soon as I got the ice cream machine, I quickly started making ice cream. The remaining egg yolks from making meringues have already been conceived of where to go. Since ice cream is the main thing, let’s make ice cream. It doesn't matter where you go as long as you have somewhere to go. If one egg yolk is too little, add another egg yolk. The recipe is based on Rourou’s ice cream and may be modified as appropriate. This is the first time I have used this ice cream machine. It is quite convenient, but I also feel that there are some deficiencies in the details. We’ll leave that for another day. The ice cream made by the soft ice cream machine is indeed very soft and melts quickly even on rainy days. However, the taste is very good, much better than the ice cream machine that is stirred in the refrigerator.

Take out the inner barrel of the ice cream machine

Put it in a plastic bag, put it in the freezer of the refrigerator, and freeze it for more than 15 hours

Prepare ice cream ingredients

Pour the egg yolks and half of the sugar into a large bowl

Stir until thick and white

Add milk and mix well

Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until the liquid becomes thick and pasty

Remove from heat, add vanilla powder, mix well, let cool and set aside

Pour the cream and remaining sugar into a large bowl

Use a whisk to beat until 67% distributed

Add the cooled custard

Mix well

Pour into the ice cream machine with the inner bucket installed and the switch turned on

After pouring the ice cream slurry, close the feeding port

The ice cream slurry gradually solidifies during the mixing process

When the stirring rod stops stirring, the ice cream is finished, remove the machine head

Put the ice cream into a freezer box and store it in the refrigerator
