Soy milk

Soy milk

Overview

Soy milk is one of the four most popular breakfast foods for Shanghainese people. Because so many people love it, there is now a midnight snack of fried dough sticks and soy milk. My family also likes to make some of it on weekends, and mix it with fried dough sticks and rice cakes. It’s a satisfying breakfast! Just be careful when cooking soy milk as it can easily overflow, so keep an eye on it.

  4. Pour the ground soy milk into gauze and filter it. The soy milk can be filtered into the pot, and the bean dregs will remain on the gauze.

  5. Bring the filtered soy milk to a boil over high heat and then simmer over medium heat with the lid open for a few minutes.
