Shuangxue Runfei Decoction
Overview
Autumn is here, and the weather is getting drier day by day. My throat has been itchy and a little dry these past two days. Thinking of making a clear and moist soup to drink to quench your thirst. Snow fungus and pear are both commonly eaten in autumn. They are nourishing, sweet, moisturizing and cough-relieving. Adding figs makes it even more moisturizing. Eat more of these foods during this period to spend this autumn sweet and moist.

Steps
-
Wash the pig's knuckles and cut them into small pieces, rinse the figs and wash the pears. I actually only used two pears, three was a bit too much. Soak half of the snow fungus in water and wash it in advance.
-
After boiling the pigs in water, remove and wash the blood and set aside.
-
No need to peel the pears, cut each into four pieces, remove the stem and heart.
-
Wash the snow fungus, remove the stem and tear it into small pieces.
-
Put the pork belly, snow pears, snow fungus, figs, and ginger slices into a stew pot, and add two bowls of cold boiled water.
-
Cover and simmer for two hours.
-
Sprinkle some salt to taste before eating. The clear and moist soup is ready.
