Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients
-
Wash and cut the radish into thin slices and set aside (if you don’t like the skin, you can peel it, the skin is actually delicious and very crisp)
-
Marinate the white radish with 3 tablespoons of salt for half an hour, drain off the water, and blanch it in boiling water (for about a minute to remove the radish smell), take it out, and use a juicer to squeeze out the carrot juice for later use
-
Then filter the carrot juice through a sieve, pour it into the radish and soak it for 1 to 2 hours to color
-
Finally, pour out the excess carrot juice, add 4 to 5 teaspoons of sugar, and about 4 teaspoons of white vinegar. Mix well, cover tightly with a lid, and marinate overnight for the flavor to develop
-
Cut the pickled radish slices in half and put them on a plate, arrange them into flower shapes, and pour sesame oil on them
-
Crispy and delicious, it goes very well with rice...

You can also cut the radish slices directly without carrot juice, marinate them with salt for about half an hour, squeeze out the water, scald them with boiling water, remove the radish smell, drain the water, marinate them overnight with 4 to 5 teaspoons of rice vinegar and 4 to 5 teaspoons of sugar, and then pour sesame oil over them the next day
