This is a delicious and crispy traditional Taiwanese snack. You can add fillings as you like. This is the most delicious and simplest snack I have ever made. The first bite is crispy, and the second bite is soft and sweet. It is really delicious!

Prepare all materials

Soften the butter in water, pour it into a basin, add powdered sugar and salt, and beat well with a whisk

Add sifted flour and milk powder

Pour in eggs

Continue to beat the eggs, flour, and butter until completely combined

Press purple sweet potato into puree and knead into a small ball

You can start making delicious puff pastry. According to the size of the mold, weigh the dough and fillings in a ratio of 1:1.

Flatten the dough with your hands and put the purple sweet potato filling on it. After pushing the puff pastry up, knead it tightly so that the puff pastry can completely wrap the purple sweet potato filling and put it into the mold to shape.

Cover with absorbent paper, press the delicious pastry, put it in the oven at 175 degrees for 15 minutes, and bake until the surface is golden.

You can put the mold in and bake it together, and then unmold it after it cools down. I didn’t use a mold to bake mine, so it was deformed
