Air fried brown sugar chestnut pound cake
Overview
A Japanese-style pound cake from the book by Yuko Kumagai. The flavor of brown sugar is extremely strong. If you want a milder taste, just add three-temperature sugar or ordinary sugar to the brown sugar. I am very happy to have the opportunity to try out the Joyoung air fryer provided by Tmall Joyoung Yilian store. The original recipe was made in the oven. This time I tried making the pound cake in the air fryer and it was equally delicious.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Preheat the air fryer to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
-
Prepare chestnuts: If you have chestnuts boiled in nectar (boiled chestnuts in sugar water), cut them into three pieces horizontally and absorb the water with kitchen paper. I used sugar-fried chestnuts and cut the peeled chestnut kernels in half
-
Coat the inner layer of the mold with a little butter (outside the amount), sprinkle with a little flour, dust off the excess flour, and place the chestnut kernels on the bottom
-
Mix the three-warm sugar (or white sugar) and brown sugar powder (the liquid brown sugar I used) and stir well
-
Put the softened butter into a mixing bowl and stir with an electric mixer until it becomes mayonnaise
-
Add the mixed sugar in two batches and beat thoroughly. Because I used liquid brown sugar, it is not easy to see the butter becoming larger in volume and lighter in color
-
Pour in the beaten egg liquid several times, beating each time until completely mixed before adding the next time
-
Repeat the above steps
-
Until all the egg liquid is mixed evenly
-
Sift in the mixture of cake flour and baking powder
-
Mix well with a spatula
-
Pour the batter into the chestnut-lined mold, fill the four corners and smooth out
-
Put it in the air fryer and bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes
-
After completion, the top is swollen, painted, and the air-fried drawer is pulled out by the handle
-
Invert and unmold, let cool and cut into pieces before eating directly
