Spinach Toast
Overview
I was lucky enough to enter the semi-finals of the ACA Baking Competition. First of all, I would like to thank all my friends who supported me! Thanks to the judges for the encouragement! Thank you to all the hard-working administrators! The theme of the semi-finals is home-cooked baking. Simple, easy and high success rate is the most basic requirement. Such recipes are easy for beginners to learn and can increase their confidence in baking, so that they can go further and further on the road of baking. For this theme, I used a bread machine to make a super simple bread. Although it is simple, the addition of spinach juice makes this bread look beautiful in color and more nutritious. Using spinach that is readily available, the effect is not inferior to matcha. Hope you guys like it!

Ingredients
Steps
-
grams of spinach, blanch it first, then add an appropriate amount of water, and use a food processor to blend into spinach juice
-
Pour the required amount of spinach juice into the bread pan, add eggs and salt
-
I did not use sugar, but used candied ginger powder sifted from candied ginger slices. This can be completely replaced with 30 grams of white sugar.
-
Add bread flour, you can also use ordinary high-gluten flour
-
I forgot to add the yeast powder after stirring with chopsticks. You can add the yeast powder directly when adding the flour
-
Start the dough kneading program of the bread machine, add softened butter after 10 minutes, and continue kneading the dough
-
The dough kneading program of my bread machine is 30 minutes
-
At the end of a program, the dough has basically been kneaded to the extent that it has expanded, and the glove film can be pulled out
-
Cover the bucket with a wet drawer cloth and let it ferment until it doubles in size. If the dough doesn't bounce back when you pound it with your fingers, it's ready to ferment. Cover with a damp drawer cloth to prevent the surface of the dough from drying out, or cover with plastic wrap.
-
Deflate the fermented dough and divide it into three parts, two are 190 grams and one is 200 grams. This can ensure that the middle of the finished product is high and low

Turn on the baking function button and set the time to 45 minutes. Immediately after baking, unmold, let cool and wrap in a plastic bag. It was already around 10pm when I baked this bread. The lighting in the kitchen was too dark and the color cast was severe when taking photos
