Cashew Chicken Curry

Soak cashews in appropriate amount of milk or water for 15 minutes to make a paste.

Heat oil, add chopped onions and sauté until fragrant (about 4 minutes). Add the ginger and garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes. Wash the chicken, drain the water and fat and simmer for 4 minutes and then simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and fenugreek powder in the pot. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for 8 minutes. Add tomato paste to the pot and cook for 3 minutes, then add 2 cups of water and an appropriate amount of salt, cover the pot and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
