Peel the taro and cut it into large pieces. Don’t cut it too small, otherwise it will turn into sand when cooked.

Cook for about twenty minutes until it is ready, add sugar.

Boil water in another pot and add sago. Be sure to boil the water and add sago. Otherwise, it will turn into a ball,

Stir for a while, be sure to stir, otherwise it will stick to the bottom all of a sudden. It will take about ten minutes to cook until it is like this. Cover the lid and simmer for ten minutes.

After ten minutes, the small dots in the middle will disappear, which means it is cooked. If there are still small dots, turn on the heat again, boil, and simmer for another five minutes. Usually at this point, you can use a mesh sieve to pick it up and pass it through cold water. Pour in the taro sugar water.
