Ingredients
Steps
-
Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, and cut into thin slices. Steam it in a pot and it will be cooked 8 minutes after the water boils.
-
Use a spoon to puree the pumpkin.
-
Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
-
Mix the yeast water into the flour. Let the pumpkin puree dry for a while, then mix it into the flour.
-
Knead into a smooth dough. If it feels sticky, sprinkle some flour on it.
-
Ferment until doubled in size. It's been cold in the Northeast these past two days, so I fermented it for 2 hours. Knead and deflate the fermented dough.
-
Cut into 100g pieces each.
-
Roll it into a long strip, leave a piece in the middle for tentacles, and then roll up both ends.
-
The tentacles are cut open with a kitchen knife and are the tentacles. Use chopsticks to pinch it in the middle, and a butterfly shape will come out.
-
Sort it out.
-
Brush the steamer with oil and let it rise for 15 minutes. Then bring to a boil over high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and wait ten minutes before opening the lid.

Sweet, especially soft and delicious. I'm obsessed with steamed buns recently! Haha, and I eat very quickly, steaming steamed buns every day.
