Homemade red bean paste
Overview
When you make your own red bean filling, you can add sugar according to your preference. Although the making process is long and arduous, the finished red bean filling is still very fragrant and healthy and hygienic. Red bean filling can be used to make steamed buns, egg yolk crisps, moon cakes, and bread.

Ingredients: Soaked red beans.

Add the red beans to the pressure cooker, add water 1 inch above the red beans, bring to a boil over high heat, cover, and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

Pour the cooked red beans into the basin.

Using a food processor, puree the red beans until smooth.

Pour the red bean puree into the pan, heat slowly over medium heat, stir constantly with a spatula.

When some of the water in the red bean paste disappears, add soybean oil and continue to stir-fry.

Add sugar and stir-fry evenly.

The water in the red bean paste disappears completely. When the red bean paste can form a ball, turn off the heat and let it cool before use.
