  1. Prepare your favorite ingredients and cook the eggs in advance.

  2. The meat is first colored with dark soy sauce, and bay leaves, cinnamon bark, ginger slices, garlic, and bay leaves are stir-fried together to taste. If you like spicy food, add dried chilies in this step. I don’t like spicy food, and my children don’t like spicy food, so I didn’t add it. You can also stir-fry pure rock sugar for coloring, and dark soy sauce is recommended for beginners.

  3. Pour in water, try to put in enough at one time, put in the lotus root, egg and beans together, and boil for about 40 minutes.

  4. When 40 minutes have passed and it's done, add the edamame and continue cooking for about 8 minutes. Turn off the heat and soak overnight.
