Ingredients

Steps

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead them into a smooth dough (don’t pour all the milk in at once, but pour it word by word), put it in a basin and cover it with a cloth to ferment

    Piggy buns step 1
  2. Take out the fermented dough and deflate it on the chopping board (that is, knead the dough again)

    Piggy buns step 2
  3. Kneaded dough again

    Piggy buns step 3
  4. Use a knife to divide the dough in half

    Piggy buns step 4
  5. Knead half of it into a long strip

    Piggy buns step 5
  6. Divide the long dough into several even portions (just estimate, because the bags are all about the same size, so they look more beautiful, hehe)

    Piggy buns step 6
  7. Tighten the divided small dough inwards

    Piggy buns step 7
  8. Turn the tightened dough over

    Piggy buns step 8
  9. Use the shape of your hands (as shown in the picture) to clasp the dough and draw circles to make the dough rounder

    Piggy buns step 9
  10. Slice ham into thin slices

    Piggy buns step 10
  11. Cut the ham slices into rectangles and then cut them into quarter triangles

    Piggy buns step 11
  12. The triangle is the piglet’s ears, and the cut side is the piglet’s mouth

    Piggy buns step 12
  13. First put the ears and mouth together

    Piggy buns step 13
  14. Melt the chocolate, dip your chopsticks into the chocolate and dot your eyes

    Piggy buns step 14
  15. The cute pig shape is completed, and then the dough is proofed for 15 minutes (this is the second fermentation, so that the air in the dough is completely saturated)

    Piggy buns step 15
  16. Pour cold water into a steamer, steam over high heat for 20 minutes, and simmer for another 3-5 minutes before serving

    Piggy buns step 16
  17. Little Piggy is out of the pot!

    Piggy buns step 17
  18. Very soft and delicious! And it looks cute! The babies love to eat!
