Stewed boss fish
Overview
In our place, the boss fish is called Shuiguangguang. I don’t know if it’s the same word, but it’s the same sound. This season, add some tofu and stew the rice dumplings. It tastes delicious!

The front and back of the boss fish, this should be the back. Make an incision in the middle of the abdomen and remove the internal organs. Be careful with your hands.

Wash and cut into pieces

Prepare onions, ginger, garlic, star anise, and some chili peppers

After the oil is hot, add onions, ginger, and garlic and sauté.

Add some light soy sauce and enough water to start simmering.
