Cranberry Margarita
Overview
I have known about the elegantly named margarita cookies for a long time, but I have never made them. I heard that it is very suitable for novices to make, and the success rate is extremely high. As long as the recipe proportions are accurate and the steps are followed, it will basically not fail. Although the method is simple and easy to make, the taste is not compromised at all. Since the egg yolk is added after being cooked, the egg flavor is richer and the texture is extremely crispy. You can only know that crispy feeling if you try it yourself, haha~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the required materials; melt the butter at room temperature;
-
Boil the eggs to get the yolks; cook them longer than usual to cook the yolks thoroughly. You can do whatever you want with the whites. I just put them in my mouth and ate them~
-
First, sift the flour and cornstarch and set aside; chop the cranberries;
-
After the butter is melted at room temperature, add powdered sugar in three batches and beat with an electric egg beater;
-
Beat until the color becomes lighter and slightly fluffy;
-
Put the egg yolks in the sieve and crush it with a spoon;
-
After sifting, scrape off the egg yolks stuck on the sieve with a spoon, then mix the butter and egg yolks evenly;
-
Add the sifted flour and starch, mix well;
-
Add cranberries and mix well;
-
After mixing, knead it into a ball, wrap it with plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour; --The kneaded dough should be dry, not too moist, and will not spread due to dryness;
-
After taking the dough out of the refrigerator, open the plastic wrap and let it warm for 3 minutes;
-
Preheat the oven: select the "Biscuit" function, 170 degrees for 10 minutes;
-
Take about 10 grams of small dough, roll it into small balls and place it on the baking sheet; I use a non-stick baking sheet. It is best to put a piece of baking paper on the general baking sheet ~
-
Use your thumb to press vertically in the middle of the ball, and the surrounding area will naturally crack and the biscuit shape will be ready;
-
Place the baking sheet into the middle rack of the oven and bake at 170 degrees for 15 minutes.
-
The color will turn slightly golden, don't over bake it.
