I’ve been tinkering with the oven lately and making cookies, which is so hot! Today I’m giving a Chinese Valentine’s Day gift to those who don’t have an oven, purple sweet potato steamed buns! I hope you like it. To make homemade purple sweet potato, you can follow my recipe or replace it with purple sweet potato puree! May everyone have a happy Chinese Valentine's Day and sweet love!

Pour the yeast into the water and let it sit for ten minutes

Stir the flour, purple sweet potato starch and powdered sugar evenly with chopsticks.

Gather the dough with your hands and transfer it to a kneading mat and add a little lard.

Knead until it is 3 light and then cover the kneading bowl and ferment for 50 minutes.

Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a sheet and use a cup to press out five round shapes.
