Homemade (zero additives) hawthorn rolls
Overview
Hawthorn rolls are a common snack. They are made with hawthorn as the main ingredient, added with sugar and lemon juice. There is no added coloring. The taste is sweet and sour, and the color is beautiful!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the hawthorn repeatedly and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
-
Remove the stems and cores of the cooled hawthorns, remove the hawthorn cores from the bottom, put them into a food processor, add the hawthorns and appropriate amount of water and beat into a puree.
-
Pour the finely sieved hawthorn puree into the pot and add 1 lemon juice for a nice color.
-
Add an appropriate amount of sugar, about 50 to 60g without weighing it, and stir constantly.
-
Stir-fry over low heat until it becomes thicker.
-
Use a squeegee to apply it on the surface. It's the first time I've done it. It's not evenly applied, but it's OK (the light at night doesn't look as good as the actual color).

This is the situation on the evening of the second day.
-
Use this scraper to scrape around the area first, and then gently lift it up. I thought it would be very difficult to lift it up, but it turned out to be relatively easy, and the color is very beautiful!

What a sense of accomplishment! (Photography in the afternoon)
-
Cut the hawthorn rolls into large and small pieces, and then roll them up gently. A plate of homemade hawthorn rolls with no additives (no coloring matter) is very beautiful (they are all used for ordinary photos) and decorated with sweet-scented osmanthus.

Very fresh color, freshly prepared and tastes sour and sweet.
