【Haikou】Black tofu with tomato sauce

Overview

Tofu is the most common ingredient, but it is also one of the most versatile. What we usually eat is tofu made from soybeans, which can be divided into southern tofu and northern tofu. In addition to soybeans, tofu can also be made from black beans, mung beans, peas, etc. Tofu made from different beans will have slightly different textures and flavors. A friend gave me some home-made black tofu, which is light gray in color and feels similar to northern tofu. It feels a little harder, but the inside is very smooth and tender. There just happens to be a tomato, so I decided to make black tofu with tomato sauce. The weather is cold, and a spoonful of thick tomato sauce is poured on the steaming white rice. The white rice is wrapped in the red sauce. Just looking at it will whet your appetite~~
