Medicinal Chicken Soup
Overview
The weather is hot and I have lost my appetite. I haven’t had fresh soup for a long time and I can’t forget the taste. Taking advantage of the sudden heavy rain, I stewed chicken soup to satisfy my taste buds.

First, remove the oil from the hen and cut it into small pieces; cut the chicken into large pieces, cut the angelica head and astragalus into small pieces; slice the ginger. Crack open the shell of the ginkgo, soak it and remove the buds in the kernels. The buds are inedible!

Put the wok on the fire, add the chicken oil and fry over low heat until the liquid comes out, discard the oil residue.

Pour in the chicken and stir-fry until the surface of the meat is firm and dry; add cooking wine, pepper and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant, then add water and bring to a boil.

Remove the boiling soup from the boiling water and transfer it to the stew pot. Add the angelica head, astragalus root, wolfberry, ginkgo kernels, etc. Simmer for at least 1 hour.

The final product! The aroma is fragrant and the soup is thick. I can’t wait to have a bowl of it to warm my stomach!
