Red oil tofu
Overview
In fact, making red oil tofu is similar to making mapo tofu, but red oil tofu has more prominent red characters, so I added some red pepper powder. Appetizers that go well with meals and are low cost.

Cut the tofu into pieces, fill the pot with half a pot of water, add 2 teaspoons of salt, and cook the tofu over medium heat for 10 minutes to allow the tofu to solidify and have a slight flavor;

Stir-fry the bacon on medium-low to remove the oil;

Pour in the Italian sausage slices, stir until fragrant, set aside, leaving oil at the bottom of the pot;

Adjust the heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of bean paste, stir-fry until the sauce is smooth, add 2 teaspoons of chili powder and red pepper powder, and stir for a few times;

Pour in minced ginger and garlic, sauté over high heat until fragrant;

Add the tofu cubes, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and stir several times;

Pour in the bacon and sausage slices, stir for a few times, add 2 teaspoons of corn starch and 1/2 cup of water, mix well, and remove from the pot;

Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon of cooked Sichuan peppercorns on the tofu surface and serve.
