Braised tofu with garlic sprouts
Overview
This garlic sprout is not a green garlic leaf. Some people call it garlic heart, garlic sprout, or garlic hair (I learned this name from the Internet), and people here call it garlic sprout. It can be fried or roasted, mixed or marinated. It is also one of the home-cooked dishes to use it to cook tofu. I bought a pound of garlic sprouts today and only used half of them. I bought a pound of tofu, which is a bit much for two people. However, the 2 yuan of garlic sprouts plus the 2 yuan of tofu are economical and delicious, haha!

Cut the tofu into small pieces and the garlic sprouts into small sections.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu until both sides are slightly brown.

After frying the tofu, take it out and leave oil in the pan to stir-fry the soybean paste until fragrant.

Add the fried tofu, mix gently, add light soy sauce and appropriate amount of water and cook for about 5 or 6 minutes.

Before serving, you can test the saltiness and add an appropriate amount of salt, drop in sesame oil and serve on a plate.
