Apple Pie

My daughter’s little Tang brother came to the house and made a simple apple pie for the two little guys.

Prepare the ingredients and take out the pastry to defrost.

Wash, peel and cut the apples into small cubes.

Melt the butter in the pot over low heat.

Add diced apples and stir-fry for two minutes (use medium heat)

Add lemon juice and continue to stir-fry.

Add lemon juice and continue to stir-fry for 3 minutes.

Pour in two tablespoons of water, cover and simmer over low heat until the apples become soft and turn yellow. Add a spoonful of Sanhua evaporated milk and stir-fry evenly. (The Sanhua evaporated milk I opened at home needs to be used up quickly, so I added this)

Use a rolling pin to roll out the thawed puff pastry to make it thinner

Pour the cooled applesauce onto one of the pancakes. Coat the edges with egg wash.

Cover with another pie sheet.

Use a fork to emboss around.

Use a knife to cut a few small slits in the middle. Prevent internal expansion after being heated.

Coat with whole egg mixture.
