Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the baguette diagonally into slices about 2 cm thick. If you don't have baguettes, you can use regular bread slices.
-
Clean a few sprigs of thyme and set aside. Thyme is generally eaten in relatively small quantities. One pot on my balcony is basically enough! If you can't buy thyme, try using a few chives. It just tastes different!
-
Place a head of garlic in a bowl and mash it.
-
Then add thyme and 1 tablespoon of salt and continue pounding until the garlic is very finely crushed.
-
Melt a piece of butter, then use a brush to brush the butter evenly on the baguette
-
Then place the mashed garlic thyme on top of the baguette slices. Line a baking sheet with tin foil, place the baguettes in it, and bake in the oven at 200 degrees and 160 degrees for about 13 minutes.
