hello kitty cute steamed buns
Overview
After entering summer, I don’t like to eat high-sugar and high-fat desserts. I like to eat steamed buns and porridge in the morning, which is the most comfortable. I’ve made panda steamed buns, piggy steamed buns, and another kitten steamed bun

Ingredients
Steps
-
Weigh out the amount of flour, sugar and oil in a basin
-
Take another bowl, weigh out 110 grams of milk, pour in 1.5 grams of yeast, and let it sit for 3 minutes. In summer, the milk does not need to be warmed, just room temperature
-
Pour the milk into the flour basin, knead it into a smooth dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size
-
Let the dough double in size, take it out of the bowl
-
After the dough is deflated, knead it into a smooth dough
-
I usually divide the dough into small pieces of about 50 grams. You can determine the weight of each small dough according to your own needs. Using the ingredients in the recipe, you can make 6 palm-sized buns.
-
When I make pumpkin steamed buns, after the first fermentation, I cut off a small piece, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put it in the freezer of the refrigerator.
-
Roll out the cocoa powder dough into a thin dough and cut it into 2 cm wide rectangular sheets
-
Use a knife to cut into small strips 1 mm wide. A kitten has 6 whiskers. Count them when cutting. It is better to have more than less.
-
Brush a thin layer of water on the surface of the steamed buns, and stick the beard on half of the dough, which can be slightly lower
-
Glue the beard, take 2 small pieces of dough, and roll them into eyes respectively, brush a thin layer of water, and glue the eyes in place
-
Take pumpkin dough, take off a small piece, and roll it into an oval shape to make a kitten’s nose
-
Sprinkle the remaining pumpkin dough with a little flour and roll it into a 2 mm thick sheet
-
Use a flower-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the shape and carefully take it out
-
Brush the small flowers with a layer of water and place them on the kitten’s head to make a headdress
-
After secondary fermentation for about 15 minutes, the dough will become slightly larger, adjust according to room temperature. Pour cold water into a pot over medium-low heat for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes before opening the lid
