Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the raw materials: a piece of sea bass, appropriate amounts of onions and ginger, appropriate amounts of ham and fresh mushrooms (I forgot to take pictures of the last two).
-
Cut the fish into two pieces (the plate is not big enough), add a small amount of salt, cooking wine, onion and ginger and marinate for fifteen minutes. Cut the fish body with a flower knife to make it easier to absorb the flavor. Place the ham and mushrooms separately on the flower knife and arrange them evenly.
-
After the water in the pot boils, put the plate in and steam for 7 or 8 minutes (increase or decrease the time according to the size of the fish), turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
-
Cut an appropriate amount of green onions and ginger and place them evenly on the fish, and pour in the steamed fish soy sauce.
-
Put an appropriate amount of oil in the pot (more than for stir-frying), and fry the peppercorns over low heat until fragrant.
-
Pour the Sichuan peppercorn oil onto the fish while it's hot, and the steamed fish with meat is ready to serve.
