Pork cubes fried in sauce

Overview

When I was a child, my mother always worked overtime and had no time to cook. Every time she would come back with fried diced meat in sauce from the hospital cafeteria. It tasted super delicious!

Steps

  1. Prepare potatoes, lotus roots and carrots

  2. Cut all ingredients into thick slices about 2 cm

  3. Then cut the meat into dices. After the meat is cut, you can add starch, cooking wine, and light soy sauce and marinate for ten minutes for a better taste

  4. Since both potatoes and lotus roots contain starch, they should be soaked in water immediately after cutting to avoid oxidation

  5. Stir-fry the garlic, ginger and meat until they are about 80 to 90% cooked, remove and set aside

  6. Heat oil in a pot and add miso

  7. Saute the sauce until fragrant, add carrots, lotus roots, potatoes, and finally the meat. Add some salt as appropriate

  8. Take out of the pot
