Toast version of apple pie
Overview
Ever since I got an oven, I have basically been baking biscuits. Mainly because of my limited skills, I have always wanted to eat apple pie. The price of one in a fast food restaurant is at least 6 yuan. I feel a little worried about money. My husband has already been working very hard to support the family, and I want to learn how to run the house to reduce the burden on him. As a foodie, I have no choice but to do it myself. I bought a pack of toast and made my own applesauce. It tastes no worse than the ones sold outside. It’s also very simple for me, a novice baker.

Prepare an apple and wash it

Cut into small pieces and chop. If you don’t like the grainy texture, you can use a food processor to grind it

Prepare a small spoonful of whipped cream

Put the chopped apples in a small pot and add an appropriate amount of whipping cream according to your own taste,

If you like sweetness, you can add some sugar and simmer over low heat for 7-8 minutes until the apples are soft, translucent and sticky

Take a piece of toast, cut off the edges, roll it out flat, and make 3 diagonal cuts on the top with a knife

Put a spoonful of applesauce and 4 raisins on the toast, brush the edges of the toast with egg wash, fold it in half, and pinch it tightly

Then brush the outer layer with egg wash and sprinkle with appropriate amount of coarse granulated sugar

Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes
