The deliciousness of dried products---Chaoshan casserole porridge
Overview
Chaoshan casserole porridge is a traditional snack of the Han people in Chaoshan area of Guangdong Province. It is extremely delicious and has a faint fragrance. It is a savory porridge cooked in a special clay pot. Porridge is the main ingredient, and the ingredients generally include river seafood, poultry, snakes, frogs, turtles, etc. I remember when I was a child, my mother often cooked salty porridge. Since she didn’t have fresh shrimps, she used dried squid, scallops, dried shrimps, etc. to cook them.
