Select red dates of suitable size and soak them in warm water until soft (about 20-30 minutes)

Take out the red date core vertically and try to keep the integrity of the red date

Mix the glutinous rice flour, shape into 2 date cores and put them into the dates. Simmer the red dates wrapped in glutinous rice with rock sugar in water until crystal clear (simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes)

Simmer over low heat and cool

Add sugar osmanthus, sprinkle with some sesame seeds and serve
