Overview
The Chinese lunar calendar is a lunisolar calendar, based on the movement of the sun and the moon. On November 30, 2016, China’s Twenty-Four Solar Terms were officially included in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The earth revolves around the sun, and it takes one year to complete one revolution. The year is divided into twelve months, and the twenty-four festivals are closely connected.
