Two-color flower cookies
Overview
Today, this biscuit is made for my niece. It is specially made into a beautiful flower shape, just for the little girl who loves beauty. In my opinion, the most intuitive feeling that baking brings to me is: happiness! No matter what the final product is, when you devote yourself wholeheartedly to completing each kind of bread, cake or biscuit, this investment process is the most important. At this moment, I was completely relaxed, very calm, confident and peaceful. When you smell the warm and sweet smell from the oven, only the word happiness can describe your mood at this moment. This is the greatest joy that baking brings me.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare materials. The butter is softened at room temperature and the various ingredients are weighed.
-
Add the softened butter to the sugar and beat with a whisk until the sugar melts and the butter becomes larger in volume.
-
Add the whole egg liquid in batches, each time until the egg liquid and butter are fully combined before adding the next time.
-
Whipped butter.
-
Divide the butter into two equal portions.
-
Sift a little baking powder, 60 grams of cake flour and a little vanilla powder into one portion. Add 60 grams of cake flour, 5 grams of matcha powder, and a little baking powder to another portion. Use a spatula to stir evenly until there is no dry flour left.
-
Knead into a dough, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
-
Take out a piece of dough and roll it into a large sheet 0.4 cm thick. Use the flower stencil to stamp the outline of the flower.
-
Use the flip side of a piping tip to carve out the center of the flower.
-
Take another piece of dough and do the same as the previous piece of dough.
-
Transfer the flowers to a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper. Use a bamboo skewer to make marks on the petals of the flower.
-
Switch the centers of the two colors and place them in the middle of the flower. Use the blunt end of a toothpick to poke small dots evenly into the center of the flower. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees, set the middle and lower racks for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes.
