Steps

  1. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and soak them in water for about an hour. Change the water several times during this period, then drain the water and set aside.

  2. Add oil to the pan and fry the potatoes until golden brown. Serve out and set aside.

  3. Leave oil in the pot, add chopped green onion, garlic slices, and tomato paste and saute until fragrant.

  4. Pour in the fried potatoes, add sugar and salt and stir-fry. Add water and bring to a simmer.
