Sea cucumber and mushroom porridge
Overview
A friend went back to Hainan for vacation and gave me a box of dried sea cucumbers. Although I have eaten sea cucumbers, I have never made them myself. I thought it was a very expensive thing and it would be wasted if the soaking failed, so I only took one for the soaking experiment. After a week, I finally soaked it successfully! One is too little, it’s best to chop it up and make porridge for the whole family! According to records, sea cucumbers have a history of more than 600 million years. They like to live from the seaside to 8,000 meters in the sea, feeding on seabed algae and plankton. Sea cucumber is rich in nutrients, is a typical high-protein, low-fat food, and has a delicious taste. It is especially suitable for patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia and coronary heart disease. Patients who often suffer from dizziness, tinnitus, backache and fatigue, and frequent urination can use sea cucumber as a nourishing dietary therapy. Because sea cucumbers contain high levels of collagen, they also have good beautifying effects.
