Flaxseed Mochi Triangular Bun - Q Inner Cute Bun

Flaxseed Mochi Triangular Bun - Q Inner Cute Bun

Overview

The weather is getting hotter, and it’s a good time to make bread. Today, I’ll make a cute bun with a QQ heart (the recipe comes from Wang Guangguangguangguang). The next day, it will still be soft on the outside and QQ on the inside. You can bake it for a few more minutes before eating, or you can eat it directly without returning it to the oven. It also tastes good!

  1. Soak flax seeds in water overnight and drain off excess water before use.

  2. Knead the ingredients except butter and yeast into a ball and let it stand for more than 30 minutes. Then knead the dough in a bread machine for 10 minutes. Add the butter and yeast and knead for about 15 minutes.

  3. Add the pre-soaked flax seeds (because flax seeds are slippery, you can tear the dough into small pieces first, or add a little flour to the flax seeds, but don't add too much).

  4. Fold the flax seeds into the dough completely, cover with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place.

  5. At this point we can make the filling. Mix the ingredients in the meat filling evenly except for the red bean paste.

  6. Then add red bean puree or honey red beans and mix evenly (the homemade honey beans I use are not particularly sweet, and the finished product is not too sweet. If you like sweetness, you can add a little more sugar).

  7. Cook in a microwave or steam in a steamer and mix well. (I steamed it while cooking, but be careful to cover it with something to prevent water from getting inside.)

  9. Divide into 9 portions, roll into balls and let rest for 15 minutes.

  10. Take one portion, flatten it and add the filling. (The filling is relatively sticky. You can use disposable gloves or a fresh-keeping bag on your hands to knead a small ball. Do not put too much, as the filling will easily spit out when baking.)
