Winter melon roasted vermicelli
Overview
Winter melon and vermicelli are both good and favorite ingredients. When cooked together, it tastes like meat. A very healthy home-cooked delicacy.

Soak sweet potato vermicelli in cold water.

Boil the soaked vermicelli for a few minutes and drain the water.

Wash the winter melon, peel it and cut it into cubes.

Heat the oil in a pan, put brown sugar into the pan and fry until brown.

Stir-fry the winter melon in the pan.

Put the vermicelli into the pot and add appropriate amount of water.

Add onions, ginger and aniseed and stir-fry evenly, cover the pot and cook. Bring the pot to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally.

When the ingredients are cooked, add salt and stir-fry evenly. Turn off the heat after the soup is reduced.
