The end of September on the lunar calendar is the season for eating hairy crabs! Thick meat and lots of delicious paste! It happened that a friend gave me some Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, and they were steamed to preserve the original flavor of the crabs! You don’t need too many ingredients, just like life, just be simple and light——

Use a brush to clean the crabs. The pointed ones on the back are male crabs, and the round ones are female crabs. Choose female crabs to buy, the ones I have are only male crabs.

On to the steamer! Cut the ginger and steam it together. Add more ginger and sprinkle a little salt on the surface of the crab. It will be more delicious after steaming. Pour cold water into the pot and turn to high heat for 15 to 18 minutes. The crabs should be steamed in reverse (it means that when you first close the lid, you must press the lid hard, otherwise the crabs will come out)

Add garlic that has been fried with vinegar and add minced ginger to make a sauce for dipping crab meat!
