Steamed seabass
Overview
I have a young man in my family who doesn’t like fish, so I rarely cook fish. I usually steam it, simple, without too much seasoning, to keep the fish as fresh and tender as possible!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Clean the sea bass, cut two to three cuts on each side, and cut the navel to the tail for ease of presentation
-
Marinate the fish with salt, cooking wine, ginger, and green onions for 20 minutes. You can use more salt to enhance the flavor
-
Steam in a pot over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Adjust the time according to the size of the fish. You can also use chopsticks to pick up the meat on the back of the fish. If it can be easily pulled apart, it is done
-
After the fish is steamed, remove the ginger slices, top with light soy sauce or steamed fish soy sauce, and sprinkle with chopped green onion
-
Put oil in the pot and heat until you see smoke
-
Just pour the hot oil on the fish. When eating, the fish is most delicious when dipped in the soup.
