Grilled tofu
Overview
I ate teppanyaki grilled tofu at a night market food stall and it was delicious. I tried baking it in the oven at home. It was simple, delicious and more hygienic.

Steps
-
Line a baking sheet with tin foil and place the cut tofu on it. Don’t cut the tofu too thick. If it’s too thick, it won’t be easy to cook in the middle. It should be about one centimeter thick.
-
The barbecue ingredients I bought are more convenient. Any brand will do. You can also mix chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and pepper powder together and mix well.
-
Sprinkle the barbecue ingredients on the tofu, turn it over and sprinkle on the other side.
-
After sprinkling the ingredients on both sides, use an oil brush dipped in oil and pour on the tofu. Don't brush, otherwise all the barbecue ingredients will be brushed off.
-
Then use a spoon to drip the light soy sauce onto the tofu, dripping some on each piece of tofu. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake on the middle rack for 25 minutes.
-
After 25 minutes, take out the tofu, sprinkle with chopped green onion, and bake for another 5 minutes. The whole process takes half an hour.
-
The tofu freshly baked is very hot, so be careful as it may burn your mouth.

I ate the grilled cold noodles. It’s very hygienic to make dark dishes at home. I can’t help it, I just like these street snacks 😅😅
