Rose Nougat
Overview
I specially dried some of the petals of the roses I picked today in order to use them to make nougat and biscuits. Use flower petals to dry, the pieces are relatively large and easy to use. This nougat is made of dried rose petals. Doesn’t the nougat look much more beautiful with rose petals added? ! It still tastes delicious! Also, this time I used a bread machine to make it. Using a bread machine is really convenient, quick and hassle-free, and because the bucket of the bread machine is non-stick, there will be no material sticking to the bucket and no food will be wasted. Do you like the nougat with rose petals that can be made in just ten minutes? If you like it, give it a try. Of course, the ten minutes refers to the time to make nougat, and the peanuts and petals are prepared in advance.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Just pick the fresh roses and spread them out to dry in the shade
-
Place the dried petals in the oven and bake at a low temperature of 65 degrees for 10-15 minutes. This is mainly for sterilization. But don't use high temperature, otherwise the fragrance of the flowers will be released.
-
Put the butter and marshmallows into the bread bucket and turn on the jam function. In my bread machine, the jam function is heated for the first 15 minutes without stirring. Use this function to heat for 10 minutes.
-
After ten minutes, the marshmallow will expand and melt
-
At this time add milk powder
-
At this time, switch to the automatic stir-frying function and mix the milk powder evenly. You can also use a mixing spatula to mix evenly. Stir for about 2 minutes and it will be evenly distributed
-
Mix the milk powder evenly, then add chopped peanuts, and continue stir-frying for 3 minutes. It is best to preheat the cooked peanuts in the oven at 100 degrees for better results
-
After 3 minutes, the peanuts will be mixed evenly. Add dried cranberries and take out the bread barrel
-
Pour the mixed sugar mass on the oilcloth, add half of the petals, fold and press repeatedly, and knead evenly. Kneading is also to make the nougat taste better
-
After kneading, pour it into a non-stick baking pan, roll it into a long and consistent thickness, and sprinkle the other half of the roses on the surface
-
Cover the top with oilcloth, flatten it with a rolling pin, then let it cool
-
After cooling, take it out. It is best to use a ruler to cut it into even strips
-
Then cut into uniformly sized pieces. Just wrap it in candy wrapper
