Treat headaches—Gastrodia Chuan Gong Angelica and Fish Head Soup
Overview
This soup has a certain sedative and analgesic effect on headaches, dispels wind and activates blood circulation. People with headache symptoms or migraines can occasionally cook it to treat it. In the same way, the fish head can be replaced with pig brains, which will have the same effect. You can add some lean meat to enhance the umami flavor of the soup

Steps
-
Prepare a fish head, preferably a big-headed fish
-
Appropriate amounts of Gastrodia elata, Chuan Gong, and Angelica dahurica, which can be added according to the number of people or the amount of the pot
-
Soak in clean water for 5-10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly
-
Wash all the ingredients and put them into a stew pot. If you like a milky white soup, you can fry it first and then simmer it in the pot. I stew it and don’t bother to fry it
-
Put two slices of ginger into the stew pot and add an appropriate amount of cold boiled water
-
Simmer over high heat for 1 hour, then turn to low heat and simmer slowly for 1 hour
-
After stewing, add appropriate amount of salt to taste. You can also drink it plain without adding any seasoning. The soup will still have a light taste without adding any seasoning
