1. 1 Prepare the raw materials, meat filling and dumpling wrapper (Jingfeng used the remaining water chestnut and pork filling to make egg dumplings and the ingredients have been prepared. If you are making it from scratch, just use the purchased minced pork and add a little ginger, salt, egg white, water starch, oyster sauce and soy sauce and mix well)

   

2. 2 After the pot stickers are wrapped, add a little oil to the pot over low heat and put the pot stickers in (put the pot stickers one by one, dip them in oil and shake them from side to side before lifting them up, otherwise they will not stick to the pot)

   

3. 3 Mix the water starch with 15-20 ml of cold water thoroughly.

   

4. 4 When the bottom of the pot stickers is fried until golden brown, pour in the prepared starch liquid, and then cover the pot immediately (covering the pot is very important!). After covering the pot, continue to fry on low heat for about 8 minutes. During this period, be sure not to lift the pot lid. Once you lift the lid, the steam will escape and the upper part of the pot stickers will be undercooked.

   

5. 5 Opening the lid of the pot, a layer of rice cake appeared on the bottom of the pot. Then use chopsticks to poke the pot stickers off (don’t poke the bottom of the pot stickers directly, poke through the outer ring of the pot stickers so as not to puncture the bottom of the pot stickers)

   

6. 6 The bottom of the pot stickers is golden and crispy, and the top is soft and delicious. Pair it with the dipping sauce that suits your taste~you’re done~
