Ingredients
Steps
-
Choose 500 grams of fresh broad beans and a small piece of ham
-
Remove the outer green skin of the broad beans. If the shell is older, remove the inner white skin as well, and leave the skin on the tender ones (it’s best to choose the tender ones, as they taste better with the skin on)
-
Cut the ham into small cubes and set aside
-
Put an appropriate amount of oil in the pot. When it is 80% hot, put the prepared broad beans and ham into the pot and stir-fry over high heat
-
When it is cooked for 5 seconds, turn to low heat and pour the rice evenly into the pot (it is best to use cold rice cooked the day before)
-
Then pour a small bowl of water around the rice, then cover the pot and start simmering
-
When the pot makes a "cici" sound and the water has simmered dry (about seven or eight minutes), uncover the pot, turn up the heat a little, add an appropriate amount of MSG and salt, stir-fry for a few times, and then you can take it out of the pot

The fragrant broad bean and ham braised rice is ready
