Steamed Pork Ribs with Chopped Pepper
Overview
There was a discount in the supermarket in the evening, so I bought the ingredients for pork ribs and winter melon soup at a very low price. However, my family doesn’t like soup very much, so I made a steamed pork ribs and braised winter melon with shrimps instead

Steps
-
Purchased a portion of black pork ribs and a piece of winter melon
-
Take out the ingredients and wash them, cut the ribs into knuckle-length pieces, add homemade chopped pepper sauce, ginger slices, chopped green onion, cooking wine, light soy sauce, and a little oil. Mix well and spread it flat on the plate. It is best not to overlap. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for more than 30 minutes. Steam in a steamer for about 20 minutes.
-
Serve over freshly steamed brown rice. Spare ribs rice bowl is ready!
-
Cut the winter melon into slices and cut into flower shapes with a vegetable cutter. Do the same with carrot slices.
-
Heat the cold oil in the pan and sauté the ginger slices until fragrant. Add the winter melon slices, carrot slices and fungus slices. Stir-fry for a few times and then add the broth until the vegetables are submerged. Add dried shrimps and simmer over low heat until winter melon turns transparent, add salt and serve.
