  1. Add powdered sugar to softened butter.

  7. Divide the dough into three parts and roll one part into a long strip.

  8. Use a rolling pin to roll out the long strip and pipe a long strip of lotus paste filling.

  9. Wrap the lotus paste filling with dough sheets and gently knead it into a round bar.

  10. I also made bean paste flavored strips.

  11. Brush the surface of the long strips with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
