New Year’s dessert of glutinous rice and red dates with a smile
Overview
The New Year's bell is getting closer day by day; in the New Year, after a busy year, everyone gathers together to have fun; so how can we miss the glutinous rice dates on the New Year's table? We call it a smile, is it more in line with the meaning of the New Year? I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year~~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients; soak the red dates in water;
-
Drain the red dates and use a knife and tweezers to remove the core in the middle; set aside;
-
Dissolve the marshmallow with boiling water. The amount of sugar can be determined according to your personal preference;
-
Add water-milled glutinous rice flour, stir with chopsticks, and knead into a ball. Do not make it too soft; too soft will make it difficult to handle;
-
Take a red date and gently press both ends with your hands to open it;
-
Use chopsticks to take out an appropriate amount of glutinous rice dough, a little more and leave some outside the dates; squeeze it gently with your fingers and it will be fixed;
-
Finished product; must be open;
-
Do the rest in turn. I personally find it very convenient to use chopsticks;
-
Steam in a steamer for about 10 minutes; if the glutinous rice flour turns transparent, it must be cooked;
-
Take a bite, the sweetness of red dates and the elasticity of glutinous rice; absolutely OK;
-
You can pour honey or sugared osmanthus on top; I don’t like it too sweet; just leave it like that~~
