Pork and water chestnut dumplings

Steps

  1. Prepare the ingredients: pork, water chestnuts, green onions, ginger, and dumpling wrappers.

  2. Peel and mince the water chestnuts and set aside.

  3. Put 1 onion, 1 slice of ginger, 1/3 cup of water, salt (you can add more, no need to add more salt later), put them into a juicer and squeeze the onion and ginger juice.

  4. Put the pork into a press and mince it, or chop it into a bowl by hand.

  5. Mix water chestnuts, chopped green onion, pork, green onion and ginger juice.

  6. Wrap the dumplings and steam them in a pot over water for 20 minutes. You can also cook the dumplings directly.

  7. The finished product can be topped with seasonings according to your preference. I used soy sauce and balsamic vinegar to make the dressing.
