Hamster black sesame glutinous rice balls
Overview
I had some colorful dough left over from making the Great Sage Rice Balls, so I made some little sitting hamsters. I’m not very satisfied after it’s done, it doesn’t look cute enough/(ㄒoㄒ)/~~

Steps
-
Divide the glutinous rice flour into several portions. One portion should be the original color. Add mango powder, strawberry powder, and cocoa powder to the other portions. Mix well. Add hot water in small amounts one at a time. Use a bread machine or chef's machine to form a dough. Put it into a fresh-keeping bag and bake for 20 minutes
-
Take a small piece of white dough, press it into a thin sheet in the palm of your hand, wrap the black sesame filling, seal and form into a ball
-
As shown in the picture, small white balls form into cheeks and nose
-
Cover the top of your head with a cocoa-colored sheet, pinch two small balls on top of your head, and press out the cochlea with the tip of a chopstick. There is no way to create a mixed color gradient effect, so we process it like this
-
As shown in the picture, use yellow to make eyebrows and head scars, two small balls to form feet, and red to make soles
-
In the same way, make two small hands on the chest, pinch the small ball to make a tail
-
Roll the red into thin strips to make a mouth and nose, roll the black sesame filling into an olive shape with pointed ends, use a toothpick to poke small holes for the eyes, fill and compact. Because it is leftover dough, the surface is a little dry. However, after being cooked in water, the lines will disappear

Pour in hot water, cook and serve
