Lotus root and barley bone soup

Required materials, peel the lotus root and cut into small pieces, wash the barley.

Add a little oil to the pan and fry the bones until they are dry and slightly brown. (If you can’t use a pot over an open flame, use a wok.)

Add the chopped lotus root and stir-fry for a while.

Add ginger, and add 1 tsp of light soy sauce instead of MSG for seasoning. (You can omit it if you don’t like light soy sauce)

Add appropriate amount of water.

Add barley.

Cover the pot tightly, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for about 45 minutes. Open the lid, add salt that suits your taste, and turn off the heat.
