Wu Yuan Claypot Chicken
Overview
Wuyuan Stewed Local Chicken - Wuyuan, which consists of jujubes, longans, lotus seeds, gorgon seeds, and wolfberries, is stewed together with low-fat and high-protein local chicken. It nourishes energy, strengthens the body, and is rich in nutrients. You can drink a big bowl of soup and meat warmly. It can be called the first warm-up soup in the cold winter.

Cut the chicken into pieces;

Soak the lotus seeds in advance, wash the jujubes, longan meat, gorgon seeds, and wolfberry seeds and set aside;

Cut ginger into slices;

Put the chicken pieces into a pot of boiling water (outside the amount) and blanch for about 1 minute;

After taking it out, rinse it with hot water that is not scalding;

Add water to a clay pot (I use a cast iron pot). After the water boils, add the chicken pieces;

Add ginger, lotus seeds and gorgon seeds,

After boiling over medium heat, reduce to low heat and simmer for about 20 minutes;

Add jujube and longan, continue to simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked;

Add salt to taste;

Add a little rock sugar to enhance the flavor;
